guarantors Tuesday forenoon various

was oraered to issue scrip for this

ble. He suggested that every one so-
liciting baggage be required to wear a
cap or some other means of identifica-
tion. This was referred to the ordi-
nance committee.
The proposition of providing a fund
for maintaining the sewerage system,
was brought up, and was referred to
the ways and means committee.
A petition was read asking for the Early d<’1
extension of the sewer pipes on North
Locust street, in which citizens af-
fected offered to put up 8125 to be
used in the construction and be cred-
ited for water consumed in return.
The matter was referred to the water-
works committee.
Mrs. L. A. McDonald was appointed
as a member of the Park commission
in place of Mrs. B. Waldo Blewett,
who has resigned. The appointment
was ratified by the Council.
In connection with his monthly re-
port, Waterworks Superintendent
Grady read a list of delinquent sub-
scribers of the department, which to-
taled about the sum of 8555.

Wilkes Davidson. They moved to
Dentoh from Florence, Ala., in 1882.
Mr. Davidspn died here in 1885 and'
