The Sigma Beta Chi Fraternity, established in 1951, purposes to serve the best
interests of the University, to promote a spirit of brotherhood among its members, and
to cooperate with the student body in all projects directed to the progress of the Uni-
versity. Activities of the year included four parties, two picnics, intramural sports,
TCIL Sportsmanship trophy, variety show, and advertising St. Mary's at hometown
high schools.
