Croup and Cough Remedy
Croup is a terrible disease, it attacks
children so suddenly they are very apt
to choke unless given the proper rem-
edy at once. There is nothing better
in the world than Dr. King's New Dis-
covery. Lewis Chamberlain, of Man-
chester, Ohio, writes about his chil-
dren: “Sometimes in severe attacks
we were afraid they would die, but
since we proved what a certain rem-
edy Dr. King’s New Discovery is, we
have no fear. We rely on it for croup,
coughs and colds.” So can you. !'

A! the home of her daughter, Mrs.
W. H. Parks, Grandma Scott celebrated
her 80th birthday Tuesday, Dec. 23rd,
with an old-fashioned dinner. It is
remarkable that the combined ages of
those present (near neighbors) should
be 614 years, or, divided fairly, 68 years,
2 months and 20 days apiece.
In the afternoon Mrs. J. P. Kerley
joined the crowd and all were invited
into the yard for kodak pictures, which
eacii will be presented with as a sou-
venir of the occasion. On returning to
the house they were invited into the
dining room, which during their ab-
sence had been darkened, and found
the table beautifully laid, in the center
of which was placed the birthday cake,
