Mesdames Bolding and Sparks were
hostesses to the Victory Wesley class
on Tuesday, January 10.
The president, Mrs. L. R. Sparks,
presided during the extensive busi-
ness session. Class activities center
around our foster daughter in the
Waco Home, who is completing her
high school course January 19. Plana
were made for a member to attend
the graduation exercises in Waco.
The committee had also purchas-
ed a gift which was brought for all
of us to see. This was a lonely over-
night case any young girl would be
thrilled to own.
The class voted to have anothet
forty-two party in the next week of
two, since a former One had proved
such a success, both as entertainmertt
and financially. Place and time will
be announced later.
A “Go to Church” movement is be-
ing sponsored by the class. It is hop-
ed that this will be 'helpful not only
to our own church but will create
interest in the other churched of the
city. Our religious vitality is low.
The adults of our Christian world are
“on the spot.” If we expect our young
people to look to the church for guid-
ance, then we must surely set ah
example. If our world is to be saved
from fascism, communism and strife,
