Lady Eagles season mixed
after first week of volleyball
The volleyball season began
last weekforLindale eighth grade
teams who fought aggressive
matches against Sulphur Springs.
After losing the first game,
Team B fought back to win the
second game 15-5. During the
third match, Team B rallied hard
but were to late to recover and
the match ended with a loss of 9-
15.
Team A battled to a two point
win over Sulphur Springs during
their first game, but crushed their
opponents during the second
game with a score of 15-0.
This week on Monday, Aug.
31, both 7th and 8th grade teams
hosted Quitman.
During the matches, 7th grade
Team B lost 9-15 and 10-15 in
their first match while Team A
took revenge with scores of 15-7
and 15-2.
Both 8th grade teams played
hard and were victorious every
game.
Team B won 15-6 and 15-
1 and Team A won with score of
15-10 and 15-6.
Varsity and junior varsity vol-
leyball teams slammed home vic-
tories for Lindale during the
matches against Whitehouse
teams on Tuesday, August 25.
Lindale varsity earned their
victory over Whitehouse with
scores of 15-10,4-15, and 15-5.
Lindale JV brought home the
victory with scores of 15-3, and
15-11.
