son. They wore identical
gowns of blue dotted Swiss.
The gowns were fashioned
with V-necklines outlined in
self - ruffles and short
sleeves. A deep flounce
finished the A- line skirts at
the hemline. Each carried
a bouquet of yellow roses,
white daisies and haby’s
breath accented with long
white ribbons.
Jimmy Szymanski at-
tneded as best man.
Groomsmen were Gregory
Buenger and Leander Reich-
le, Jr. The ringbearer was
David Schaare. Serving as
ushers were Michael Blez-
inger, James Little, and Le-
roy Schaare, Jr. The can-
dlelighter was James Thom-
as Marek.
Mrs. Elaine Little presi-
ded at the guest register. A
candle arrangement of blue
and white daisies was on the
table.
’ The bride’s mother wore a
light blue suit with off-white
accessories. The groom’s
mother wore a blue and white
suit with white accessories.
Each was marked with a
double phalaenopsis orchid.
Each was given a red rose
by the bride.
The reception was held at
the Knights of Columbus
Hall, where a barbecued beef
and sausage meal was
served. The bride’s cake,
a three-tiered colonade con-
fection, was trimmed with
blue and white daisies, and
accented with white bells.
The cake was topped with
a cherub backed with a
heart and lily of the valley,
surrounded by net. The
groom’s cake was marble
and decorated with yellow
and white daisies, with the
couple's names and wedding
date inscribed. Atop the
cake was a heart with a
cluster of daisies, and a cute
bride and “Reluctant
Groom*'. Both were baked
by Mrs. G.P. Michaelis.
Memliers ofthe house par-
ty included Patsy A shorn,
Claudine Barry, Jo Ann
Beckman, Ella Mae Dahse,
Vivian Kveton, Elaine Lay-
well, and Arlene Nelson.
The couple left on their
wedding trip to New Orleans
through a shower of rice.

nity Lutheran Church inSea-

officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
The bride is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy
Schaare of Sealy . The groom
is the son of Mrs. Lola
Mieth and the late Mr. E.A.
Mieth, Sr. of New Ulm.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride selected a
gown of sheerganza and re-
embroidered lace. The em-
pire bodice featured a sheer
V-yoke outlined in the lace
that extended into a high
neckline. The Bishop
sleeves, enriched in lace
appliques, were accented at
the wrist in tiny cuffs. Lace
enhanced the graceful skirt
that swept to a back full-
ness to create a chapel train.
A matching lace Juliet cap
held her long mantilla of il-
lusion encircled in lace, that
fell beyond the length of the
train. She carried a bouquet
of white roses, blue and
white daisies, stephanotis
and baby’s breath, accented
with blue ribbons. The bride
wore the locket that her
mother had worn on her
wedding day.
Miss Debbie Remmert was
organist and Mrs. Rose
Marie Meier, vocalist, sang
“Entreat Me Not To Leave
Thee" and “Wedding Pray-
er.”
