ease on July 14 at 8:00 p.m.

nounced by Mrs. Paul
Schomberg. The retreat on
July 2 and Dress Revue
"Fashion Fling’ on July 11.
Ella Kautz encouraged
members to readbooks from
the library.
Mrs. Henry Grawunder
conducted recreation and re-
ported that Arts and Crafts
Day was set for the after-
noon of July 24. Council will
meet at ten a.m. at the Pav-
ilion in the Fair Park. A '
covered dish will be served
at noon.
Mrs. Charles Herzog dis-
tributed the new year books.
The Safety Committee has
planned topresent a program
ooschool taxes on September
29. Mr. Woodrick ill be the
speaker.
Mrs. O. K. Oelke, in an
impressive ceremony, in-
stalled the officers using
the owl as a symbol. Instal-
led with Mrs. Wflson were
Mrs. E. J. Janecek. Jr. as
vice - chairman; Mrs. Don
Vlasak, recording secre-
tary; Mrs. Lawrence Jones,
corresponding secretary;
Mrs. R. W. McDaniel, trea-
surer; Ella Kautz, reporter.
Mrs. Oelke presented repli-
cas of owls in appropriate
colors to the office to which
each was elected.
The next Council meeting
will be held on July 24 begin-
ning at ten o’clock.

Whereas God In his infinite
wisdom has called home our
dear sister, Bertha Muenz-
ler, to be with Him on Moth-
er's Day, May 11, 1975,
Whereas by His calling
the Women’s Society of Ch-
ristian Service, now known
as the Bertha Circle of the
United Methodist Women lost
a dear sister and friend,
her family a loving mother,
grandmother, great-grand-
mother and a great-great-
grandmother, who was loyal
in attendance as long as heal-
th permitted;
Be it therefore resolved:
that we hold her in loving
remembrance and extend our
deepest sympathy to her
family in their sorrow. That
we send a copy of these
resolutions to the family,
that a copy be spread on the
minutes of our circle and
that a copy be sent to the
