Mr. and Mrs. William Bowldin,
both in their 60s, received slight

leased from Parkland Hospital.
Loss was estimated at $15,000
in the apartment house.

The “45th Anniversary Din-
ner” of the American Legion this
past Saturday night at the Legion
Hall was attended by approxi-
mately. 85 Legionairres, Auxili-
ary members/ families and guests.
Fourth District officers present
were Vice Commander Buck
Hughes of Sherman and District
Adjutant Fred Wright of Denison
and the wives of both.
Local guests were Mayor and
Mrs. Tom Hymer, Rev. and Mrs.
Kenneth Smith, Dr. and Mrs. F.
B. McDowell, and Mr. L. R. Ful-
lerton.
The Auxiliary did their usual
excellent job of setting up the ta-
bles and preparing the food. Le-
gionnaire Wade Morris was on
hand as always to slice the ham
for the ladies. They all received
the thanks of the Legion for a
mighty fine dinner.
