high school assembled in the aud-
itorium Wednesday morning, where
Dr. Bob Evans, pastor of the lo-»
cal Methodist church,
Thanksgiving' message to the stu-
dents. It was a very inspirational
(talk, and the student body wishes;
to thank him for his presentation.

“I urge all persons in our com-
munity to attend the Book Bazaar
which is scheduled to be held an
Nocona high school on November
30 from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m..’’ Mrs,
M. H. Mitchell, high school librar-
ian said today. “Everyone knows
(that it is important to bring good
books to the attention of the pub-
lic and to encourage reading by
persons of all ages. The Book Ba-
zaar is designed to do this, and
I hope that every person will sup-
t»ort this worthwhile activity.”
“Books for Everyone” is the
theme of the Bazaar which is be-
ing developed by the students of
Nocona high school in cooperation
with the Library Club and the
Student Council. Book Bazaars
similar to the one being presented
(locally are being held in schools
throughout the United States with
,the cooperation of the American
Book Publishers’ Council, the
American Booksellers Association,
the Children’s Book Council, and
the Scholastic Teacher Magazine.
Attractive displays of books and
special bocks are being displayed
from the following: Lovelace Book
Store, and Mrs. Grover C. John-
son of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Special posters have been made
by Donald Pollock and Jean Welch
under the supervision cf their
