Miss Jean Akins and Miss Jew-
ell Garett of Midland were La-
bor Day week end visitors of
Miss Akins’ mother, Mrs. Callie
Akins.
Funeral services were held at
2:30 p.m. Tuesday in First Bap-
tist Church in Blue Ridge. Bu-
rial was made in Blue Ridge Ce-
metery with Fielder-Baker Fu-
neral Home in charge of arrange-
ments. Rev. Peck Williams and
Rev. J. T. Hudson, both of Blue
Ridge, officiated.
Mr. Hayes was born December
1, 1882 in Tennessee, son of the
late John L. and Missouri Hayes.
He married Rosae Parvin June
15, 1915 and she survives.
Other survivors are 3 daugh- so*1 of Richardson spent Monday
