Torrington, Connecticut,
erects for it’s childfen in
December a Christmas vil-
lage, where Santa and his
elves work on toys, sur-
rounded by shelves loaded
with gifts. Santa chats with
the youngsters and provides
each one with a gift.
His sleigh and reindeer
are likewise an attraction
and include Rudolph the
Red-nosed Reindeer. The
Nativity scene with the Holy
Family is lighted by a Star
of Bethlehem.

Dear Santa Claus,
I want a Swindy Doll for
Christmas. And I want a Mono-
poly game. And a game of life. A
talking Ken and PJ. I want a
ahoulder strap billfold. And there
will be some cookies and cake
and milk in the kitchen. I will
be at my Grandmother’s house in
Sherman.
I have been a good girl this
year. I would like a baby With a
bottle, a little kiddle house, and
a desk. I would also like some
fruit and nuts.
Please don’t forgot my sister,
Terri, and the other boys and
girls.
