The Seniors are looking for-
ward to the Christmas holidays.
Their homeroom mothers helped
them with their school Christ-
mas party. Everynoe who attend-
ed the party seemed to enjoy it
tremendously.
The class would like to welcome
a new pupil, Jackie Brown, into
their class. They hope that he
will like the students and facul-
ty at Celeste High.
The class was sorry that so
many Seniors have been absent
due to illness. They were glad
that Joyce was back today, after
being absent because of a sore
throat and cold. Sarah missed
a day, also, because of the sniffles
and a cough.
The Seniors would like to ex-
tend Christmas greeting to ev-
eryone and wish all a very hap-
py New Year.

The eighth graders are keen-
ly aware of Christmas. Their bul-
letin board has a tree made of
lovely Christmas cards and well-
filled stocking.
The class had its Christinas
party Monday night. The room
was attractively decorated; the
refreshments were good; and the
guests had a fine time. Mirs. Gary
Spurrier sponsored the party.

Miller Grove. Gerald Eldridge led
Celeste with 26 points followed
by Donnie Evans with 25 points.
The top scorer for Miller Grove
was Middleton with 25 points,
followed by Garman with 18
points. Celeste went back Satur-'
day night to edge out Rains in
an overtime, with the final score
of Celeste 44 and Rains 40. Don-
nie Evans led Celeste with 24
points and Max Fletcher led Rains
