vided by Naval Regulations. Med-

prepared to identify the right to

Personnel on Active Duty: The
Outpatient Department does not
render service to men on active
duty. When sickness or accident
occurs while on leave or liberty and
the individual is unable to make

Award for campetitive year 1935
1933.
Reference: (a) Chief of Naval Op-
erations letter A5-9(29) of 12 Sept-
ember, 1936.
1. Commander Battleships takes
great pleasure in making this a-
ward to the Marine Detachment
of the U. S. S. TENNESSEE, for
the greatest general excellence and
efficiency attained by a Marine
Detachment of the battleships for
the year 1935 - 1936. Second and
third places were taken by the
Marin Detachments of the TEXAS
and Nevada, respectively.
2. In making this award the
following factors were considered:
Battle Efficiency.
Small Ai*ms Efficiency.
Military Efficiency.
Conduct Record.
3. Upon receipt of this letter,
Commander Battleship Division
TWO will arrange for the trans-
fer of the trophy, with due cere-
mony, from the Nevada to the
TENNESSEE. The transfer will
not be effected until the cup has
been appropriately inscribbed by
the Nevada. Commander Battle-
ships will be notified when the
transfer has been effected.

(c) Home Visits: Calls for home
visits must be restricted to those
cases in which the applicant is too
ill to travel to the clinic.
Officers and men are expected to
cooperate in reducing these calls
to a minimum. The outpatient
medical officers are required to be
at the clinic during definite hours,
and are not ordinairly available
for home visits at that time except
in emergencies.
Requests for home visits may be
made to the Outpatient Depart-
ment during clinic hours given in
the previous paragraph. Call
Bremerton 700 then Yard phone
365. Outside of clinic hours (nights
or holidays) call the Officer of the
Day at the Hospital, Bremerton
700, local 347, who will direct the
call to the Outpatient Medical
Officer having the day’s duty.
The degree of urgency in cases
to be visited at home is a matter
for the Medical Officer to decide
therefore persons making telephone
requests should be prepared to give
name, address, phone
service status and a
“If wishes came true, what
would you wish for?”.
Seaman: “Gosh, I’m afraid to tell
you”.
She: “Go ahead, you sap, what do
you think I brought this wishing
! business up for.”
