for Sept. 3 at St. Paul’s Cath-
olic Church in Electra.
Miss Eckelkamp, an honor
graduate of Electra High Sch-
oo] in 1965, attended Midwes-
tern University, and plans to
continue her studies at Cam-
eron College in Lawton, Okla-
homa, this fall.
The prospective bridegroom
attended Paducah High School,
and recently returned to the
states from Germany. He is
now stationed with the 154th
Aviation Command at Fort
Sill, Okla,
Baptist Church
Members of the First Baptist
Church WMU conducted a Va-
cation Bible School at the Be-
thel Baptist Church here July
18-22 with 28, children in at-
tendance.
’Required scriptures were
memorized during the week by
14 of the participating young-
sters.
These included David Coop-
er, Gregory Trotter, Shirley
Cooper, Lavern Leviston, Ber-
nice Mills, Janice Coleman,
Linda Coleman, Evelyn Rich-
ardson, Beverly Trotter, Jo
Ann Cooper, Lisa Cooper, Eric
Dupree, Terry Dupree and

proaching marriage of their
daughter, Susie, to WOC Ken-
nith Henry, son of Mr. and
Mrs. R. L. Henry of Monte
Vista, Colorado..
Wedding vows will be ex-
changed by the couple on Sat-
urday, August 20 in the First
Methodist Church of Electra.
Miss Hilley, a graduate of
Electra High School, is a jun-
ior at Texas Woman’s Univer-
sity, Denton, majoring in busi-
ness administration. She Is on
the B-average list and the
Dean’s List at TWU where
she is a member of the Adel-
phian Literary-Social Club.
The prospective bridegroom
is a Warrant Officer cadet in
the U. S. Army, and is under-
going helicopter pilot training
at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He
was formerly stationed at Min-
eral Wells.
