short time he lias had to work with
his youngsters.

and chose to defend the south goal
thereby gaining tho advantnge ot
tho wind. At the initial kickoff
Rreekenridge receiving tho ball did
not make much headway. Failing
to make their downs they limited the
oval xvell into the enemy's terri-
tory. The game proceeded In a hotly
contested fashion with both sides
seo-sawlng back and forth on the
field. Spectators commented upon
the closeness of the contest due to
the ball remaining the greater part
ot the hour In the contor of the
gridiron.

schoolors in danger of having their
goal lino crossed. This occurred In
tho last half when Cisco managed to
got tho pigskin down around the
Rrockonrldgo 20-yard lino. Thren

tried by Turner of Cisco who widely
