Winters also gave several ideas on
decorations to make out of house-
hold goods. One example was i
Snow-da, a combination of bak-
ing soda and water and used as
artificial snow. Other ideas in-
cluded making Christmas bells
from plastic bleach bottles, cov- 1
ering ordinary cans to make fes-
tive decorations, and also cover-
ing cans to make pencil holders
to match the decor of a room.
Miss Winters ended the demon-
stration by answering questions
and giving out samples of Olive
Balls and Jiffy Fingers. She also
presented a leaflet containing
other recipes and decoration ideas
to the people present.
