Good lighting is important to every-
one, but particularly to school age
children for home study. Proper light
helps prevent eyestrain, aich concentra-
tion, makes home study more effective.
For good light from a table lamp,
make sure it is equipped with a 150-
watt bulb and a diffusing bowl to pre-
vent glare. Have enough other light in
the room, too, to prevent harsh con-
trasts of brightness and shadow.
Better light means better sight
and better learning.
