The company promises at an early
date to get up a list of the homes in
Bonham that it has either built out-
right, or furnished funds with which
to improve them.
The company is very optimistic
as to what 1941 holds for it and its
shareholders. It is manned by men
who have made successes of their
own affairs, and who are patriotic:
enough to put some of their money j
in an enterprise that can and will
provide homes for citizens—there is
no citizen who is quite so stable as
the man who owns his own home, or
who is paying for one—he is a fix-
ture. • ;
Building and Loan Associations,
the country over, have been one of
the most potent factors in making
cities out of towns. This one in
Bonham is doing its part along that
line, and will continue to do so.
The lettei- to the share holders is
signed by Charles Halsell, as presi-
dent, and J. M. Lowrey, as secre-
tary. They have long been identi-
fied with the organization.

We' believe it is a genuine tri-

people of this community that so
many have come to us with the
request for a “Simple Funeral.”
Their grief is no less, but they
wish to avoid display, and we re-
spect that feeling.
Our services can be as simple
as desired and yet be reverent,
