very interesting and enjoyable

noon party on Sunday, Feb. 2nd.
Tames were played by the young
stem, while the adults enjoyed an
afternoon of conversation. Re-
freshments of sandwiches, cake,
cookies, koiaches, coffee and
punch were served in mjd after-
noon.

Suroviks Vizit Community
Visiting with New Ulm friends
Mrs. Arnold Kasmiersky and f#-1 Wednesday were Mrs. Myrtle
Mrs. Hubert Rinn. assisted by
her daughter, Mrs. Willard Neu-
mann entertained Friday after-
noon in their home in Industry
for the Kaffee Klatsch Klub and
also for their grandson and son,
Wayne Neumann, who was cele-
brating his 17th birthday.
The lace covered dining table
was centered with a blooming
azelia in a pottery container on a
oblong reflector.
Several songs sung by Miss
Sophie Rinn of Post Oak Point
were enjoyed.
After singing the “Happy Birth
day” song the group was served
a buffet lunch consisting of baked
ham, cheese, home-made bread,
slaw, deviled eggs, stuffed olives,
piekies, potato chips, lemon chif-
fon and German chocolate eakes,
cocoanut and cherry pies, dough-
nuts, eocoanut macaroon cookies,
Cokes and coffee.

ters Society of the local Brethren

Miss Rosie Esterak, 82 years of
age. who passed away last week
was the last member of the pio-
neering Esterak family of thirf
community. Miss Rosie's father,
Mr. Joseph Esterak, Sr., will be
remembered in this community as
a man who had a concern for
building up his community and
his ehureh.
