According to reliable reports
the prospects of every hunter get-
ting his limit of deer this season
will be doubtful, as rainy weath-
er and disease has cut down con-
siderable on the 1957 deer erop.
Hunters this year will have to be
sure they see horns, and not their
partner’s hunting cap with a fea-
ther in it when they pull the trig-
ger on their intended ’•buck.”

The unrest in the Ear East and
other important current
events have been overshadowed
almost daily by Russia's Sputnik
and Mutnik, the two roving sate-
llites, which are making the
rounds (around the earth), and
causing many a person to watch
the skies for something unusual,
so they may have the honor of
saying they saw one of the ob-
jects the Russians have lunched.
The subject requires a bit of deep
to how these /eats
possible, and what
thought as
were made
will be the consequences.
We know of quite a few people
we Would often times like to see
take a trip to the Moon — Well,
here’s their chance, (or should be
soon) if the Russians can get a
new rocket or space ship ready
to go that far.
Remember, only a
ago when rocket ships, etc.,
forecast. That sounded at
time more like a
"fairy tale”
life.
We have in the recent
heard many reports about
ing saucers, etc. Only this week
the U. S. Air Force has reported
that of all the reports they in-
vestigated, not a single trace or
clue was found to verify these
reports. — At any rate, with
the speed of modern rockets, etc.,
the idea of looking for dues, un-
less you were there, would be
rather difficult to do. We don’t
put too much faith in flying sau-
cers at this particular time, but
neither do we believe that every'
report turned in on strange fly-
ing objects was false. — Oh, yes,
when you get to the Moon,’ be
