A few ywm ago there was u struggling little firm of
alarm clock makers nt tai Salle, Illinois, which was mak-
ing alarm clocks, good ones, and disposing of the pro-
duct in the regular way. One of the old memtiers of
the firm went the way of all flesh ami blood, creatures,
and there entered new blood in the shape of a son.
the son. as the story goes, wanted to sell more goods
and failed in a firm of Chicago's advertising men and
Big Ben Alarm Clocks, followed shortly after, and the
firm Wextclox sprang into existence. Today, Big lien
is sold for months ahead.
