Sergeant Boson, a fire team
leader with Company A, 2nd
Battailion of the brigade's 14th
Infantry, joins other 25th Di-
vision elements already in Viet-
nam. The division was formerly
based as Schorfield Barracks,
Hawaii.
The 24 year old sergeant en-
tered the Army in May 1961
and was last stationed at Fort
Devens, Mass.
Above all, however, I believe that your next County

contact with other counties. He must promote unity in our
communities — Defend all peoples' rights — work with the
poor and the rich. He must have proven ability to work with
all types of people,
On Saturday, May 7, you and I have a real opportunity
— the opportunity to exercise a Freedom we all cherish —
the Freedom to cast our vote in the selection of our public
officials. Among these officials Is the office of County Judge.

Creek Cemetery were not held
May 1st due to rain and boggy
parking space
Memorial services are sche-
duled for May 1th, 2:30 p. m.
on the Industry Methodist Cem-
etery.
Funeral services for Mr. Wil-
liam Huebner, 96. of Star Hill
community were held at Zas-
koda Chapel Thursday April
28th, interment on the Star
Hill Cemetery. Rev. A M
Roos of Industry Methodist
Church officiating A quartet
of the church choir sang. Mr.
Huebner is survived by three
sons. Waldo, Lee, and Kermit.
Mr. Otto Freier passsed away
at Shiner Rest Home Thursday.
He was the brother of Mrs. Ed.
Franke and Mrs. Minnie Gas-
kamp He was buried at Bell-
ville. •
Mr. Arno W. Krebs is still on
the sick list. He stopped by the
Bank briefly Saturday noon. _

The Industry Methodist Bro
flierhood of the Church met on
Wednesday night. It was fam-
ily night and a real good chic-
ken barbecue was served. The
Senior and Junior Choirs were
special guests. Rev. Paul A.
Weiss. Pastor of the Methodist
Church at Lampasas, was the
guest speaker. His wife was
with him.
The chicken barbecue supper
Saturday evening at the Meth-
odist Church was a big success.
A large number of friends from
thrown down, Bertha missed
the pavement and flew in the
ditch bruising her knee and
nose severly besides numer-
ous other bruises. We wish her
a speedy recovery.
Mrs Barbara Vollmer had a
birthday April 28. Kin and
friends gathered for a lovely
party.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley A.
Finck and Mrs Wilson of
Houston stopped briefly with
Mrs. Meta Marburger and the
Edwin Rackee on their way to
the Ernst Muenziers and Mr.
Willie Finck Sunday.

of Miss Ella Kautz over the
weekend Sunday a. m. they at-
tended Worship services in New
Ulm, also the morning and
memorial services at Frels-
burg. Pastor Wolber, now re-
tired, is a former Pastor of
the Frelsburg Parish in the
early 50’s.
Mrs. Anna Zanek returned
home from an extended visit.
She spent a week with her son
Dr. Otto Zanek and family in
Houston and a week with her
daughter and family in Galves-
ton. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Laake
brought her home Saturday.

The 10th reunion of the
Gottlieb Mieth family will be
held Sunday May 29, 1966 at
the Firemen’s Park in New
