Militafry Watches
If your boy, husband or sweeheart
is in the military service of his
country and hasn't one already he
will greatly appreciate a strap wrist
watch. A soldier has not much use
for jewelry of the ordinary kinds but
modern warfare is run strictly on
schedule and correct time is as es-
sential to the soldier as to the rail-
road man. At the present time
there is an enormous demand from
millions of new soldiers for strap
watches and the goods are scarce
bat you’ll find a fair assortment of
. reliable makes at my store.
Prices 83.50 and up.

The young army officers from Den-
ton county who will be -stationed at
the national army training camps this
winter with commands are leaving for
their posts to assist with preparations
fur receiving the first increment of the
selective draft army. Nearly all of the
officers from Denton county, who were
commissioned earlier this month at the
officers’ training camps, will be sta-,
tinned during the winter at Camp Tra-
vis near San Antonio. Texas. A few
will be stationed at other places.
These men enlisted in the officers’
training camps last May and after the*
period of three months intensive train-
ing received their commissions in the
officers’ reserve corps and were order-
ed to active duty, but allowed two
xveeks for visiting their home folks be-
