“I would like to see more interest
taken in the betterment of livestock
an! also more livestock,” said A. L.
Scott, county demonstration agent. “A
farm can’t be run successfully without
livestock. Almost any farmer in Don-
ton county would find he could make
more profits if he would market more
of his crops on foot, that is, feed it
'o highgrade live stock. Not only will
he get more for his feed in this way.
but wou’d soon find he was raising
more feed to the acre as the fertilizer
from the stock is the best known.”

Nothing so gripping has reached the
screen as “The Barrier,” the new play by
Rex Beach, from his famous novel. The in-
terest of the story becomes more graphic
and human on the screen. The picture is
strong, vital and human. The acting alone
is worth the price you pay. A faithful por-
trayal of adventure and romance of life in
Alaska in the days when that land was the
haven of hunted men i
of civilization.

Catarrhal Deafness Cannot Be Cured
by local applications, as they cannot reach s
the diseased portion ot the ear. There is
only one way to cure catarrhal deafness,
and that Is by a constitutional remedy.
Catarrhal Deafness is caused by an in-
flamed condition of the mucous lining ot
the Eustachian Tube., When this tube is
Inflamed you have a rumbling sound or im-
perfect hearing, and when it is entirely
closed. Deafness Is the result. Unless the
inflammation can be reduced and this tube
restored to its- normal condition, heaqjng
will be destruyed forever. Many casesof

an inflamed condition of the mucous sur-
