Denton county, died at his home
north of Bolivar, near the Cooke
county line, Mpndky night and was
buried at the family burying ground
north of Bolivar Tuesday afternoon.
Kidney disease was the cause of
death. Mr. Davis came with hia fa-
thet*from Vienna, Ill., in the early
days. He served in the Confederate
army from 1861 to 1865 and was
well known among the old-timers.
