Ariel club met Monday, Nov. 21,
with Mrs. J. 3. Terry. Twelve mem-
bers responded to roll call -with' quo-
tations from America's earlier poets.
The leader of the Shakespeare les-
son, Miss Annie Smith, being ont of
town, the lesson vba« read read and
analyzed by the members. Miss
Williamsi conducted the American
(literature lesson by means of a
splendid paper and questions.

policeman Monday afternoon. “As

Benevolent association, initiated a
class Tuesday night of twenty-four
candidates in the W. O. W. hall,
where they were given the first de-
gree. :
Supreme President E. S. Royall
was present and exemplified the se-
cret work in a very mas’erly manner.

tative Shuster then announced that
arrangements had been made for tho
first of a series of entertainments to
be given during the winter. Miss
Edna Clark has entire charge of
these entertainments.
