transfers reported to County Superin-
tendent L. Homer Edwards were ap-
proved by the County School board at
its regular meeting Wednesday, with
Chairman Thomas of Lewisville and
members John A. Harmonson of Jus-
tin. A C. Ball of Plainview and W. R.
Laney of Cooper present. The board
considered, but did not act finally upon
the question of a truant officer for the
county, which is required under the
new compulsory school attendance
law. Expressions from members of I
