Charley Wall, a youngster who
says he is twelve years old and looks
it, was arrested by Sheriff Orr Sun-
day charged with burglary of the
Ainsworth hardware s<ore. The store
was entered Sunday. August 28, but
nothing was said about it in the
aope of catching up with the offend-
er. The prlnicpal loss was nine
nocket knivas and when th* Sher-
iff’s office discovered that the Wall
boy had sold several valuable knives
at prices of 5 and 10c, he was taken j
up. Several knives, valued as high
as $2.50 each, were recovered by the]
police from persons to whom the lad
is alleged to have sold them.

Mrs. Virginia H. Kanady of Dal-
ias, who has been critically ill at the
home of her sou. 8. W. Kanady, for
the past several weeks, died at about
noon Sunday. An abscess at the
back of the brain was the direct
cause of death. She was 67 years
old.
Two grown sons, S. W. Kanady.
a business man of this city, and XV.
A. Kanady, now in South Texas, are
her only survivors.
The body was taken Monday morn
ing on the Dallas local to Dallas.
The remain8 were taken to her resi
dence in Dallas, corner Germania and
Greenwood streets, where funeral
services were held at 3 o’clock Mon-
day afternoon, by Elder F. L White.
Interment was made at the Green-
wood cemetery.
