Workmen are busy installing the
display coops in the Kincaid build-
ing on the northeast corner of the
square for the Denton County Poul-
try show which opens Dec. 1 for a
three days' session. Inquiries from
a wide scope of territory surrounding
Denton, as well as out of the county,
indicate the intereat being taken in
the show. Many entries have alrea-
dy been received and Secretary C-
E. Scruggs said Friday that he ex-
pected to have on exhibit anywhere
from 800 to 1,000 birds.
For the Horae Show which la to
be also a feature of tue Trades Day
events arrangements have been
made to hold the show—Dec. 2—at
the cotton yard. Both entries and
admission will be free and a very
interesting program has been prepa-
red. which will be carried out. The
owners are having daily try-outs of
their animals and there la every in-
dication that this society event so
interesting that it wil. be an annual
feature.
