Morris Chapel HDC Meets
With Mrs. Molsbee
The Morris Chapel Home Demon-
stration Club met Wednesday, June
18th, in lhe home of Mrs. Ralph
Molsbee, with seven members and
one visitor present. Roll call was
answered by naming a state flower.
The president had charge of the
business session in which plans were
made for rally day.
Arrangement of flowers and their
value was the topic of discussion.
Mrs Weeks told how attractive
wail vases, to hold flowers, can be,
made from old phonograph records
by dipping them in hot ws ter and
bending them in the desired shape
and hand painting them.
The club adjourned to meet with
Mrs. C. H. Meeks on July 2nd. The
demonstration will be "Egg Cook-
eiy.” Visitors are invited.
Little Miss Coleta Jane Chandler
was honored by her mother, Mrs. C.
W. Chandler, with a party celebrat-
ing her seventh birthday, at the
City Club House, Inst Friday, June
27, from four to six o’clock in the
afternoon. Only a small group was
present.
After many enjoyable games were
played, under the direction of Mr*.
Manley, the little honoree opened
her attractive little gifts in the pre-
sence of the entire group Favors of
tiny lanterns and jugs filled with,
delicious candy, were given to each
small guest
Birthday cake, in the colors of
pink and green, and chocolate cov-
ered drumsticks were served to
Maxine Thoele, Jimmy Daugherty,
Mary Ann Elliott, Shirley Mood,
Clovis Paine, Shirley Griffith, Mary
Boyd, Dottie A. Neff, James and
Gerrell Bennett, Simms Allen Buck-
ley, C. W. Chandler, Jr., and the
honoree, Coleta Jane.
Preston Parker, who was unable
to attend, sent a gift.

The Trailside Junior Girls’
Club Meets
The Trailside Junior Girls’ Club
met June 25, at the home of the
sponsor. Mrs. Pete Workman.
The club elected Wanda Lou Rich
as president and Elizabeth Reves as
secretary.
Mrs. Sofie K. English, the co-
sponsor of the club, of New York
City, will be present at the meet-
ings through July and August.
Two new members were received
in the club at the last meeting.
Refreshments were served to:
Wanda Rich, Elizabeth Reves. Bea-
trice Mvres. Ruby Nell Lemon, Sue
Ann Rich, Billie Taylor. Wilma Pat-
terson, Aimes Rich and the hostess,
Mrs. Fete Workman.
Alter the club adjourned, pictures
of the girls were made and a good
time was enjoyed by all.
The dub will meet every Wednes-
