RETURN FROM VACATION

home last week from a three
week vacation trip. They
stopped at Cleveland, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
New York, Maryland, Dele-
ware, Washington, D. C.,
Needville High
The rehearsal dinner was
held Friday night at 6:30 at
Mrs. Wilburn Ordner in-
troduced the bride-elect and
mother and then led the play-
ing of several games before
the gifts were opened. The
gift from the host esses was an
electric frying pan.

Houston.
The couple will make
their home in Needville where
he is Vocational Agriculture
teacher at
School.
Among those attending the
wedding from this area were
parents of the groom, Mr. and

Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Rinn and
children. Miss Karen Blezin-

ger in marriage.
Rev. Aldrich performed
the ceremony at 4:30 Satur-
day afternoon. August 15.
Attendants for the couple

and Perry Lee Marek. Ushers
were Herbert Schumann and
Clarence Wehmeyer.
A reception followed in
the church annex. Miss Karen
Blezinger registered the guests
andthegifts. Mrs. J. D. Rinn

ter Rhonda on her fourth birth-

ing of relatives. Enjoying the
hospitality were Mr. and Mrs.

thy Dierking, Mrs. Rodney
Roeske of Brenham, Mr. and
Mrs. Johnnie Richter of Aus-
tin, Mr. and Mrs. George
Boyd of Arkansas, Mr. and
Mrs. Alfred Richter, Miss
Gertrude Niebuhr, Mr. and
Mrs Bobby Richter and Mr.
and Mrs. Theo Wenzel. A
delicious lunch was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Rich-
ter, residing here during the
summer months, have moved
to Port Arthur where Bobby
will resume his teaching posi-
tionin the Port Arthur School.
Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Lin-
demann of Houston, while
here on business on Friday
visited briefly with Mr. and
Mrs. Milton Lindemann.
Miss Marie Niebuhr,spend-
ing the summer months in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Richter, left for San Antonio
to resume her former position
in a San Antonio School.
The refreshment table was
centered with a 2-tiered cake
flanked by tall candelabrums
topped by white doves. Ropes
of greenery adorned the rides
of the white cloth and season-
al flowers and large fluted
bells were used throughout the
hall.

Peter and Paul Dining Hall at
Ftelsburg.
The honoree was present-
ed with a yellow double mum
corsage accented with purple
ribbons. The mothers, Mrs.
'toy Klump and Mrs. Albert
Noska, a nd MissKlump'sgrand-
mother each received similar
corsages.
Miss Dianne Half ma nn re-
gistered the guests and also
the gifts.
The gift table was covered
with a white cloth centered
with a bride doll under an
umbrella. The gifts were
opened by Miss Carol Winkle-
mann and Mrs.Watren Moeckel
assisted by Miss Brenda Rober-
son.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
Kuehn, Jr. and family re-
turned home Sun day from a
nine-day vacation trip which
took them to Arkansas, Mis-
souri and Oklahoma. In Ma-
gazine, Arkansas they visited
with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Chand-
ler. Naming a few high lights,
in Eureka Springs, they saw
the caves and the prize of the
Ozarks, and the resort place.
The tolling Rivera and other
places of interest. In Okla-
homa they viewed the Will
Rogers Museum and the Ft.
SiU Museum. At Seymour,
Texas, they visited with Mrs.
Kuehn’s cousin, Mr. and Mrs.
Willie Raphelt and family.
Onto Abilene for a visit with
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Krinke
and Mr. and Mrs. Warner
Krinke. On their 1800 mile
trip they enjoyed some camp-
ing.
Among the out-of-town
relatives attending the funeral
service of Mrs. Hulda Light
of Brenham on Wednesday
afternoon and visiting in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Franke, Jt., later were Mrs.
Agnes Sawyer and Mrs. Hat-
tie Wotipka of Smithville,
Mrs. Walter Mueller of La
Grange, Harry Huebner and
Miss Sadie Huebner of here,
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Franke
and Elizabeth and Max Franke,
Sr. of Killeen. Mr. and Mrs.
Woodrow Woehst called on
Tuesday night.
Mrs. Monroe Rudloff, a
guest in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Rudloff in Brenham

picnic lunch in the State Park
at Old Washington and toured
with interest the Republic of
