Reed announced a open house to
be held in Electra Home Health
on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 10
a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is in-
vited to attend this open house.
She also asked for assistance in
judging the department holiday
decorations. Winners will be an-
nounced at the annual holiday
party on Dec. 7.
Auxiliary President Jean-
nette Miller presided and named
a judging committee. Secre-
tary report presented by La-
June Lewis was approved by
the board, and Emogene Hay-
ers reported 62 volunteer hours
for October. Announcement was
made of the upcoming blood mo-
bile visit on Nov. 21.
Volunteer Service Chairman
Joyce McKelvey announced the
need for more volunteers to fill
the morning and afternoon work
schedule. A discussion was held
with no decision being made on
work schedule changes.
Members agreed to provide
apples for the Well Child Clinic
at Electra Home Health in

business session during which
officers were elected for 1992.
They are Leia Ray Wilson,
president; Jimmie Wright, vice
president; Elizabeth Sachse,

Jake Ryan Vaughn cele
brated his fourth birthday with
friends and family on Oct. 28.
Halloween was the theme for
the party.
A pumpkin cake with four
candles was served to the
honoree, his sister, Jordan,
John and Jared Waggoner,
Todd Parker, Brittany Arnold,
Tia and Jessica Gentry, and
Zachary Branch.
Other guests were Bill and
Sharon Fletcher, Laura and
Lisa Malone, Thurman Wag-
goner, Moe Arnold, Cindy
Branch, Joyce and Jesse Gen-
try, and Butch and Marie Tay-
lor.
The honoree was also giver,

Pauline McDonald, his great

Decorating Date Changed
By Hospital Auxiliary
Date for decorating the lobby in November,
of Electra Memorial Hospital
for the upcoming holiday season
was changed when members
of the executive board of
the hospital auxiliary met on
Monday, Nov. 4, in the board
room.
The date was moved forward
from the Dec. 9 scheduled
decorating session to Monday,
Dec. 2, in keeping with the
decorating competition among
departments at the hospital.
All auxiliary members are
Cafeteria Menus for the stu
dents who will be eating in
the Electra Independent School
District the week of November burger salad, milk, cake.

Menus are as follow:
Monday
Breakfast Juice, milk,
real, toast.
Lunch-Steak fingers, gravy,
mashed potatoes, green beans,

Joe Ann Mason conducted a
business session. Minutes of the
previous meeting were read and
approved and Elizabeth Sachse
gave the treasurer report.
Mrs. Mason expressed thanks
from all the members to Josephine
dogdell for leading the recent
study on Japan.
The unit will have its annual
Christmas Tea in the fellowship
hall on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2:30.
Any Electra woman who desires
to attend is welcome.
The local United Methodist
Women will serve a meal at

on Friday, Nov. 15.
The annual bazaar sponsored
by United Methodist Women
will be in the church fellowship
hall on Thursday, Dec. 5 from

She said, "Laughter is like
internal walking.” Many hospi-
tals are beginning to prescribe
laughter as a help to healing
and cure. She gave five ways to
bring more laughter into your
