The bride’s table held the
wedding cake decorated with
red and white roses with green
leaves and red hearts. Red
punch, red and white hearts and ’
rose mints were served with the
cake.
A double ring chocolate cake
with red roses and green leaves
was served from the bride-
groom’s table. Both tables had
red tablecover over white lace.
Assisting in serving were
Melissa Whitson, Carol Ol-
son, Tina Cato, Gayle Bailey,
Rosa Lee Thompson and LaRue
Boren.
For travelling the bride chose
a red and white polka dot dress
adorned with white bows.
The bride graduated from
Electra High School and is em-
ployed with Electra State Bank
and Trust. A graduate of Elec-
tra High School, Mauldin at-
tended Vernon Regional Junior
College and is employed with
Lalk Brothers.
Following a wedding trip to
San Antonio the couple has
established residence at 3124

Held Monday

Tops No. TX1377 met at
Electra Home Health on Thurs-
day at 6:30 p.m. The meeting
opened with the Tops Pledge
and Fellowship Song.
There were fifteen members
present for the meeting. Every
one was reminded about the of-
ficers workshop to be held on
March 28th at TU Electric in
Wichita Falls, at 9:30.
Everyone revealed their se-
cret pal for the last six weeks
and drew again to reveal on May 1
7th.
The program this week was
“Thinking TOPS all the Year
Round.” Each month was rep-
resented by a member who dec-
orated a hat for that month and
had a small inspirational part
to say about Tops and what you
can do to help yourself. Every-
one had a great time.
All the new officers will take
over next week. So come join
TOPS and see a change in
yourself.
The workshop was attended
by Nell Campbell, Pearlice
Jones and Marilyn Johnson.
Vernie Nordstrom gave some
advice for all the clubs that were
present and she also showed a
film on contests and ideas about
them
