CHRISTMAS GIFTS: Rev. James Jackson and his wife Peggy are shown with the
Church of God congregation. On Sunday morning Oct. 29th the Church of God had a
display of 500 wrapped Christmas gifts for men, women and children, which will be taken
to the Church of God Southwest Navajo Indian Ministries in Gallup, New Mexico. These
gifts were all donated by people of the church and the town. They were all used toys and
such, which were washed, repaired and wrapped ready for Christmas. The church had a
yard sale on Saturday the 28th, which netted enough to send an individual cash gift which
will be put into a Christmas card for 30 pastors and 12 assistants. Pastor James Jackson
and the congregation would like to thank the town for their support in this endeavor.
