Bryant Family Reunion Held

day at Electra Community Center
for the annual Bryant Family
Reunion with those attending
reporting an afternoon visiting and
picture 'taking. The reunion was
opened with prayer from Pete
Gilbert followed by the afternoon
meal.'

Beauty for 1984. Penny is the 5
year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Tommy Dorland of Electra.

and Mr.and Mrs. B.J. Hawthorne
of Nocona.
She has been competing in
* pagents since the age of 22
months. She won the Baby Living
Doll of Electra in 1980, the Mini La
Petite of Vernon in 1981 where she
advanced to state competition
placing in the top ten at the state
pagent, In 1982, she won Miss
Photogentic and 2nd alternate to
Miss LaPetite in Vernon.
After competing for the top title
for 3 years she is now eligible to
represent. Vernon in the State
Pagent held in Fort Worth latefr
this year.
Winning the title of Baby Mini
Petite, was Danni Nichole Moen-
ning. Sponsored by Vemie Well
Service she is the 15-month old
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny
Joe Moenning of Electra. Com-
peting in her first pagent ever,
Danni is also eligible to advance to
state. Her grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. Vemie Moenning of
Electra and. Mr. and Mrs. Warren
Healer of Somerset.
Randi Michelle Raschke, 2 year
old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Randall Raschke of Electra was

2453 will conduct its’ monthly
covered dish luncheon and bus-
iness session Tuesday, April 17th
at 6:30 p.m. in First Presbyterian
Church Fellowship Hall. All mem-
bers are urged to attend and

Center, will be the featured

tion has extended an invitation to
any local or area woman to attend
an April 16th meeting at Electra
Country Cub. The session will
begin at 6 p.m. with those
attending enjoying pot-luck sup-
per.
ELECTRA GOLFERS Lis Crow,
Shirley Jones, Norma Thompson,
and Patsy Lawson earned a third
place finish at Olney Four-Woman
Golf Tournament. The team shot a
one-under par score despite winds
in excess of 30 mph.
MAUNDY Thursday Service, a
community service with several
denominations participating, is
scheduled Thursday, April 19th at,
First Christian Church. Rev. Char-'
les Kessler, pastor of United.
Pentecostal Church, will provide*
the evening message with a
celebration of the Lord’s Supper
and Communion to follow. Special
music will be provided by mem-J
bers of First Presbyterian Church.
