OVER THE YEARS several
wars have been added to the
Patriotic Holiday, Memorial
Day - originally, Memorial
Day or Decoration Day was
set aside to commemorate
the Civil War dead. This day
to honor American service-
men who gave their lives for
their country honors those who
died in the Spanish-Ameri-
can War, World Wars I and
II, Korean War and now the
Vietnam War as well - let's
hope that this latest war will
be over soon and will be the
last to be added to the over-
grown list.... CONGRATU-
LATIONS to the 1969 gradu-
ates and award-winning stu-
dents at Dell City High
What a nice impression to
see the total senior class
looking like a graduating
class should today with
all the long-hair and exagg-
erated clothing, it is refresh-
ing to know that the hippies,
yippies and crazies are in the
minority,

Dell Valley - No discrimination here ! These young pigs on
the Grady Collier farm seem to think what belongs to the calf
belongs to them too. Seemingly unconcerned is the cow, while
the calf decides to give up. Needless to say, the pigs were
soon sold!
