day afternoon that filled tbe district

forenoon that a division of time be
granted at the meeting, but this was
not favorably met with and the ef-

"The election has been ordered
for Nov. 27 and should the bond is-

sold, and after tbe bonds are sold,
then the commissioners’ court tnus’
advertise for bids and a number of
preliminaries must be gone through
with before actual work can be be-

time in March before actual work
will begin. At that time farmers
will be busy in their crops and can-
not afford to quit their crops to work
on the road. Under the law the
work cannot be confined to Denton
county people, as the contract must
be let to lowest and best bidder. It
