—They are not however priced at $2.00, due to the fact that the maker
purchased the materials many months ago at prices radically under
what they are today, and in true accord with Wirthmor policy, the
price is being held as low as possible as long as possible.
—If you have looked around of late and noticed the type of Blouses
that are ordinarily being sold at $2.00, then you would recognize at
once that at this price these new Wirthmor models would represent
splendid values.

We will continue to aell these Waists at $1.50 until the
maker’s materials stocks bought months ago on a basis
that makes this price possible, have been exhausted.
Thereafter to insure the maintenance of the quality
standard the price must inevitably be advanced. At the
new price they will continue to represent as they always
have in^he past, the very maximum of value.

—To get a fair idea of how very exceptional these values are and what
splendid achievement the Wirthmor Plan results in we suggest that you
ascertain the price of the materials alone. In many instances it will be
found that the cost of the Wjiist barely covers the cost of the fabrics.
These prices indicate a material advance in the
price of ice for the season but just what it will be we
are unable t'> say until .an get a signed contract on
fuel.

We are frequently asked what our prices on ice
will be this season. Our reply is, “We do not know.’’
So far we have been unable to get a definite contract
price on either fuel oil or gas. The best price made us
on fuel oil so far is $2.50 per barrel, subject to market
changes—an advance of 1G5 per cent over last year.
