Mrs. W. H. Street d ed suddenly
Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at
her home on East Sycamore street.
Mrs. Street arose at the usual
hour Sunday morning and went
about her work in the usual way un-
til about 0 o’clock. She was sweep-
ing a hall when she had an attack
of heart trouble and would have
fallen had not a son caught her and
carried her to a bed. Physicians
were called jyid she seemed to lally
and remained somewhat better until
about fifteen minutes before death
came. The second attack occurred
about fftee-i mi lutes after I o’clock
and death came at 1:30,
Mrs. Street was born in Missouri
and had lived in Denton for the past
twelve years. She is survived by the
following children: Misses ' Mollie
and Nell Street and Virgil, George
and Will Street.
The funeral services are to be held
at 6 o'clock th’s afternoon, .the ser-
vices to be conducted by Rev. Heit-
man, pastor of the American Pres-
byterian church.

lennan an Collin counties. Nowhere
did we see agriclutural conditions as
good as they were ‘n Denton coun-
ty.”
J. C. Holland s here from Crow
ell, Foard county. Mr. Holland has
been se.ling fruit trees throughout
that section. A month agb, he says,
they had in Crowell county as fine
prospects as could be asked for. The
arrival of the hot winds, however, he
says, changed all that and literally
burned the corn up. Denton county,
he says, from what he has seen and
heard -as the best crop prospects of
any county he has been in.
W. 8. Doyle of Slideil was here to-
day and says he has got something
like 3.000 bushels, if anyth’ng more,
on h's 125 acres of corn, or nearly
thirty bushels to the acre on an av-
erage. On the other hand A. Craw-
ford, who a few weeks ago believed
some of his corn would make forty
I bushels to the acre, says he will not
make more than five.
