The board of trustees of the city
schools Tuesday morning selected
the plans of Overton Farr of South
McAlester, Okla-, for. the new school
building that it to take the place
of the Central building that was de-
stroyed by fire.
The new building will cost between
128,0)0 and 330,000 and will be
semi-fireproof and will contain nine-
teen class rooms, outside of the au-
ditorium, library, study room, super-
intendent's offkto and basement. The
building will be two stories high.

as bids can be advertised for and

T;he architect, Mr. Parr, was reared
in Denton, but hag been located at
McAlester. Okla., for the past several
years. He is a son of J. C. Parr and
is known to a majority of the Den-
