The display of sheep was confined
to the Shropshire breed and the ac
ute rivalry was narrowed down to
two of the largest breeders of the
county each of whom have carried
away bine ribbons at many shows.
J. J. McKn'ght of the eastern part
of the county and A. D. Turner of
near Denton. This was perhaps one
of the most keenly contested exhib-
its and resulted !•$ each taking a
f'rst premium, one on the buck and
the other on the ewe. Displays of pet
stock were Interesting and commend-

Whereas. God has called to her
eternal home one of our deareat and
most beloved members, Mr- W. M.
Stroud, we humbly surrender to Mis

clouds of sorrow to the fullfilment of

Resolved. First, That we strive to
emulate her cheerful disposition,
imparting sunshine to friends and
loved ones. Although the last few
years of her life she *aa unable to
jo$a us in active service. She was al-
ways interested in affaire pertaining
to the work of the church.
Second. Resolved that through her
death we have sustained an irrepar-
able loss. Heaven is mad* richer by
her entrance therein.
Third, that we extend to her grief
stricken husband and relatives our
sincere sympathy and point them tP
the sheltering love and protection of
H m who has promised His abiding
presence “Always even to tbe>end of
the world.”
Fourth, Resolved that a copy of
these- resolutions be spread on the
minutes of our Society ana a copy be
furnished the local papers for publi-
