At some point in their aca-
demic career, most students
struggle with some topic or sub-
ject, be it chemistry, learning
to read, SAT tests, history, or
something else entirely. Even
those who aren’t struggling can
benefit from additional review
of a topic. In either case, a tutor
or learning center can help your
child succeed academically. It’s
important to find someone who
matches your criteria and suits
your child’s needs, and BBB
provides some helpful tips for
you to find the perfect match.

NOTICE OF TAXPAYERS’ RIGHT TO ROLLBACK ELECTION
If taxes on the average residence homestead increase by more than eight percent, the qualified voters of
the water district by petition may require that an election be held to determine whether to reduce the opera-
tion and maintenance tax rate to the rollback tax rate under Section 49.236(d), Water Code.
Include the following statement if the water district proposes to adopt a combined tax rate that would autho-
rize the qualified voters of the district to require a rollback election (the proposed tax rate exceeds the roll-
back tax rate).
