- complainant stated she
observed male subject put
something into her purse
while in the store and saw
subject leave in car.
- 5th @ Houston - male ob-
served walking southbound
and appeared lost. Subject
stated he was given a ride
but had an argument and
was trying to find a restau-
rant’s parking lot to wait for
another ride.
- Station - caller request-
ed welfare check to make
sure subject is okay. Officer
went to location and no one
home. Caller will check with
hospitals.
- Parma Ct - report of sub-
ject with breathing problems
who needs officer due to
past history of disturbances.
- 500 blk Stemmons - for
some reason a subject from
a previous call called 911
for a ride back to Arlington.

plainant stated he walked
out to the mailbox and a
brown dog attempted to bite
him. Officer passed infor-
mation on to ACO.
- Service Road @ 10th -
warning given to driver who

stopped for speeding. Sub-
ject had suspended license with complainant regarding

money. When officer asked
the last time she ate, she re-
plied “years.” Officer gave
subject a ride to the travel
stop in Denton and got her
a drink and a snack.
- 2500 blk Wichita - deliver
message.
- Station - complainant
advised her brother is tex-
ting her and will not stop.
Complainant wants to press
charges. Officer looked at
text, which was an argument
between the two. Officer left
message with brother, advis-
ing him to stop calling and
texting.
- Station - complainant ad-
vised there was a snake at
the Porter Sports Complex
eating a duck. Complainant
had photo. Officer went to
the location. It was snake
vs. fish and the snake won.
Officer advised ACO.
- 13000 blk Cash’s Mill
- burglary in progress.
Homeowner has suspect
at gunpoint. Homeowner
shot suspect in left hip area.
Officer advised homeowner
to put the weapon down.
Observed male subject on
the ground complainant of
a gunshot wound. Female
was in vehicle behind resi-
dence. Officer ordered her
out. Suspects handcuffed.
Officer cleared residence
and released the scene to
DCSO.
- Station - complainant had
questions about domestic vi-
olence.
- Marion @ Huling - assist
DPS with accident.
- Chapman @ 5th - ob-
served truck pulling a trailer
strike the stop sign in the in-
tersection. Minor accident.
Took report.
- Station - complainant stat-
ed she was at a store in Den-
ton and paid the cashier with
her debit card. Complainant
stated she was unaware until
later that she was charged a
$10 fraudulent charge un-
til later in the week. Com-
plainant completed written
report.
- 2000 blk Brook - welfare
check. Officer contacted
parents of subject.
- 700 blk Keaton - report of
disabled school bus. Every-
thing was okay. Driver had
stopped the bus to discipline
children who were throwing
things at her.
- 300 blk Quail Crossing -
open door on vacant house.
Officer cleared residence.
- 700 blk Stemmons - offi-
cer located vehicle parked
in wooded area occupied by
one person. Officer spoke
with subject and smelled a
strong odor of alcohol from
the person. Subject stated he
and his girlfriend had been
at the casino drinking. Sub-
ject appeared to be intox-
icated. An open alcoholic
beverage, two flasks and a
bottle of Sprite were n the
vehicle. Subject arrested for
public intoxication. Subject
had a large amount of cash
on him. Subject placed all of
his belongings in a large ma-
nila folder, including cash,
and sealed it shut. While en
route to jail, subject claimed
during property log-in that
there was missing money.
Officer advised subject that
everything was on video.
- 1-35 @ 477 - traffic stop.
Male driver not intoxicated.
Stated dog was in the truck
with him and it caused him
to swerve.
- 1-35 @ 479 - traffic stop.
Warning for excessive
speed.
- 400 blk Elm - traffic stop.
Warning for excessive
speed.
- 700 blk Willow - traffic
stop. Warning for excessive
speed.
- Marion - complainant
stated an open refrigerator
was near duplex on street.
Complainant was afraid
children would get into the

seen traveling northbound
on 1-35.
- Stemmons - report of fe-
male subject who left her
husband in Plano stating she
was suicidal. Complainant
advised that the female sub-
ject was last heard from four
hours ago and is possibly
heading to Sanger. Officer
checked location.
- Service Road - vehicle
in roadway. No one in or
around vehicle. Vehicle
towed.
- City - complainant see-
ing dead bodies again and
threatening to harm him-
self. Requested psychiatric
evaluation. Officer trans-
ported subject to psychiatric
triage where he was unable
to be accepted due to being
intoxicated (0.16 blood al-
cohol). Complainant taken
to hospital. Officer stayed
on scene with complainant
until released by staff.
- 200 blk 4th - report of
subject who kicked in the
front door. Subject last seen
walking on 4th St carrying
a backpack with a shovel
and shotgun. Officer locat-
ed subject in 100 block of
S 3rd who stated he was
staying at the location on
4th and had gotten into an
argument with subjects. Af-
ter investigation, subject was
arrested for assault by con-
tact and possession of drug
paraphernalia. Homeowner
refused to return home to
press charges for criminal
mischief.
- 200 blk 4th - complainant
from previous call phoned
and stated a vehicle pulled
up in the driveway and a
male subject jumped out
and grabbed something and
left. Close patrol issued for
residence.
- Station - sex offender reg-
istration verification.
- 100 blk Indian - school
matter.
- 290 blk Indian - minor ac-
cident. Vehicle backed into
another vehicle. No dam-
age.
Wednesday, May 7
- 800 blk Carmen - report of
SUV speeding that drove in
complainant’s yard. Com-
plainant’s husband told the
subject to slow down. Sub-
jects exchanged words. Ver-
bal only No damage.
- Station - officer returned
keys to complainant that
were found at the bank.
- Station - complainant stat-
ed a small armadillo was on
his porch. Officer advised
that the nocturnal animal
will leave. Complainant was
unaware armadillos existed.
- 400 blk Hughes - report
of student throwing desk
around and attempting to
assault/bite teacher.
- 11500 blk Marion - com-
plainant stated her 12-year-
old son exited the vehicle
and ran from her. Officer
made contact with com-
plainant. Son returned and
stated he was going to a
family friend’s house for
today because he was sus-
pended from school.
- 800 blk Keaton - traffic
stop. Citation for excessive
speed in school zone.
- 200 blk Wood - traffic
stop. Warning for failure to
signal turn.
- City limits - 15-year-
old female left residence
without permission. Com-
plainant stated she believed
the juvenile was at church
in Sanger but complainant
had not gone to church to
look. Child was located in
the church. Officer observed
that the child showed signs
of self-mutilation. Also
made threat to harm her-
self if made to go home.
Complainant agreed to
place child in care. Officer
transported child to care
and stayed on scene until re-
leased by staff.
- 100 blk Eider - com-
plainant wanted to know if
mini-quivers were common
because he felt the ground
shake.
- 900 blk 5th - report of
male subject looking around
houses. Male subject left
area to go back to Denton.
- 1-35 @ 482 - traffic stop.
Warning issued.
- 100 blk Pintail - noise
complaint; loud music.
- 500 blk Denton - stray dog
picked up and taken to ani-
mal shelter.
