Below is a selection of calls for service that the
Sanger Police Department responded to during the peri-
od of August 23, 2016 - August 29, 2016.
Tuesday, August 23
100 Block of Prairie - Texas impound to tow a jeep
and the person on the property grabbed an axe. No
threats made and did not come after driver with axe.
Owner of the Jeep removed it from the property.
100 Block of Eider Dr. - Subject was concerned
about his girlfriend. He advised she was being held
against her will at a drug house in Dallas. Officer ad-
vised subject he needed to contact the Dallas Police
Department.
200 Block of 5th St. - Subject drinking alcohol and
taking pills. Officer spoke with subject and her daugh-
ters. Subject was suicidal. Transported to Denton Pres-
by Hospital by Sanger EMS.
10 Block of Kramer Ln. - Complainant stated after
school kids going in house under construction. Flooded
the upstairs and put holes in the wall.
600 Block of Wood St. - Report of neighbor out-
side beating a pickup with a bat. Hitting his brother’s
pick up. Caller now stated approximately 15 minutes he
rammed the pick first with another vehicle. Officer spoke
with subject on the phone and at the door. Subject was
cussing officers and telling them to stay out of his life
and just leave him alone. Subject stated he wasn’t going
down this time if an officer came in to take him, it was
not going to be easy. Officer backed off because subject
wasn’t a danger to anyone at this time. Officer will obtain
warrant for subject’s arrest.
Wednesday, August 24
100 Block of Maned Dr. - Verbal disturbance about
neighbors video recording complainant and also over
the placement of security cameras.
100 Block of Prairie - Complainant believed some-
one was attempting to enter her residence. Complainant
stated she heard people talking for the past 2 hours, has
not seen anyone. She stated her husband saw shadows
in the backyard. Officer met with husband who stated he
saw a subject running south on Prairie. Officer searched
area. Unable to locate anyone.
900 Block of Keaton Rd. S - Assist Sanger EMS
with 3 year old having a seizure. EMS transported child
to the hospital.
FM 455 @ Creekview Rd. - Single vehicle motorcy-
cle crash. Officer arrived to find numerous good Samar-
itans on scene tending to rider with multiple injuries.
Rider was transported by ambulance. Motorcycle towed.
200 Block of Jones - Complainants son moved
out taking his children. In-laws contacting complainant
because CPS is involved. Officer advised complainant
to block in-laws number or change her number. In-laws
statement open for interpretation.
Thursday, August 25
Phone - Sex offender needing to make appointment
to register
12000 Block of Stemmons Frwy N - Male suspect
not wearing anything but socks and his flip floppies
walking around the 18 wheelers and masturbating in
front of his Honda Civic while watching porn on his
phone. Officer located subject in his birthday suit fully
reclined in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Officer re-
moved subject who admitted to stopping off after work
to “punch the clown” before going home. Claimed hew
as in the car while doing so. Complainant gave written
statement.
300 Block of Deer Run Dr. - Report of large brown
and black dogs at large in the area and being aggres-
sive. Officer and 785 arrived on scene and attempted to
coax the dogs into vehicle. Dogs were being aggressive
towards officer. Followed dogs on Deer Run. Black dog
met with a Black Hand baton to his jaw after he attempt-
ed to have a taste of officer. Dogs went thru 2 fences
into their home on Pochard. Blocked hole in fence using
lawn furniture. No one home. Advised AGO of the inci-
dent.
11000 Block of Marion Rd. - Assist 782 with intoxi-
cated combative subject.
600 Block of 10th St. - Complainant stated juveniles
being loud but not causing problems. Complainant be-
lieved it was after curfew so she called. Curfew is 1100.
No violation
1400 Block of Chapman Dr. W - Vehicle from
previous reckless driver call ran into metal post next to
drive thru window and destroyed front of his vehicle.
No damage to building or young girl inside drive thru
window. Subject arrested for DWI. Checked by Denton
Fire and EMT. Presby Hospital for voluntary blood draw.
Cleared by ER doctor for trip to jail. Placed into Denton
County Jail for DWI.
200 Block of 5th St. N - Sex offender registration.
Friday, August 26
800 Block of Elm St. - Complainant stated his
girlfriend passed out in the front yard. Officer arrived on
scene and spoke with subjects from earlier call. This
time the boyfriend stated they got into an argument and
his girlfriend took a whole bunch of pills attempting to kill
herself. Sanger EMS transported subject to the hospital.
Blue Bird Ln. - Complainant stated she was talking
to her daughter about getting older and covering her-
self and not exposing herself to anyone. Complainant
stated her daughter said when she is with her father,
his girlfriend walks around naked where they can see.
Complainant wanted to know what could be done about
that. Complainant stated she was going to speak with
her attorney and ask if she could file charges. Officer
advised complainant she would need to speak with Fris-
co Police Department.
11000 Block of Marion Rd. - Male subject walking
around complex screaming. Walked into field across
from Trails Apartments. Male subject intoxicated on
some type of narcotic and talking out of his mind. Taken
to the hospital for clearance then booked into Denton
County Jail for public intoxication.
Saturday, August 27
Phone - Complainant left money orders in envelope
and put in drop box at police department and wanted
to know if that was the correct place. Officer advised
complainant court is on 3rd St. and Bolivar and may
not be able to get it until Monday. Officer checked drop
box, found envelope and put in the court mail slot inside
police department.
12000 Block of Stemmons Frwy N. - Subject parked
on the east side of building in a pickup. Officer made
contact with subject who was dressed in drag and stated
he was waiting on friends to return. Officer checked sub-
ject for warrants and drivers license information. He was
clear. Subject stated he has a girlfriend and she does
not know of his fetish. Subject released.
Sunday, August 28
500 Block of 3rd St. - Sister-in-law brought a
friend’s car their residence with friends permission and
the friends wife is upset and on her way to get it. Wife
got car and was issued a criminal trespass. Advised to
stop calling and texting or would file charges. Told her
the girlfriend lives in OK and this house was not in-
volved. Close patrol
1100 Block of Keaton S - Caller stated she has
filed for divorce but got upset when she thought her
husband might be cheating. As they were arguing the
complainant went to the bedroom shutting the door.
Husband broke thru the door. No violence appeared
to have occurred. Both subjects were advised to seek
counseling.
100 Block of Pintail - Bag in the road was in yard
for 3-4 days. Smells of a deceased animal. It was dead
fish and complainant said they would put it in the trash.
Not road hazard and not breaking the law.
700 Block of 5th St. N - Complainant found power
washer on his property that did not belong to him. Com-
plainant stated he found it on the 27th and believed it to
be a family members so he locked it up. After confirming
it was not a family members, complainant contacted the
police to report it. The power washer was taken to po-
lice department and logged into property and evidence.
Monday, August 29
200 Block of 5th St. - Complainant stated he filed a
report of theft and was second guessing if he needed to

100 Block of 7th St. N - Abandoned dog. No one
home. Called owner. Left message.
200 Block of 5th St. N - Complainant stated that
someone rang her doorbell at midnight last night. Com-
plainant request close patrol.
200 Block of 5th St. N - Complainant stated his
girlfriend has been receiving threatening messages over
Facebook and he wants to press charges. Officer looked
at the messages which were vague. Officer advised
threats have to be direct.
2000 Block of N. Stemmons Frwy - Officer checked
vehicle occupied by male subject passed out. Subject
stated he pulled over to figure out the way to tell his wife
the bad news he had received from the doctor. Officer
advised subject of multiple Class C warrants and of his
suspended driver’s license.
100 Block of 7th St. N - Complainant stated her
neighbor’s dog is alone in the backyard and unsure if
the dog has food or water. Complainant thinks owners
may have moved and left the dog behind. Passed info
onto AGO.
