Considering Call.
Rev. Scott W. Hickey has been called
to Poteet and Jourdanton, in Atascosa
county, and is considering the joint call.
He preached at both places last week,
but if he accepts will not leave Den-
ton before the middle of next month.
Mr. Hickey brought back with him a
clipping from a San Antonio paper tell-
ing of a “snake day’’ which will be held
at Jourdanston May 20. The town an-
nually ships thousands of dollars worth
of snakes, and a snake-catching con^
test will be a feature of- the peculiar
celebration.
