WHEREAS, Texas Interurban
Railway has made application bo
this Board for an amendment to the
franchise granted to said Texas In-
terurban Railway by thi* Board"bn
the 28rd day of January, 1923, *o as
to change the Touts within the City
of Denton to bp traversed by said
Interurban Railway; and
1 WHEREAS, it is desired by the
Board of Commissioners of the City
of Denton to pass an ordinance
amending the' aforesaid franchise or-
dinance as above set forth, the
form of said ordinance to be the
one this day introduced and ordered
filed and recorded; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of the
Charier of the City of Denton re-
quire that before a frdhehise ordi-
nance is granted by the Board of
