On January 3rd I completed my first year as Administrator of
Yoakum Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I want to thank
our staff, residents and their families, our attending physicians.
Yoakum Community Hospital and the citizens of the Yoakum
area for the very kind way that you have received me and
helped me this past year
And that is where I would solicit your input. I want to make your
ideas part of our action plan. YNRC is an important employer
in Yoakum and provides valuable short-term and long-term
healthcare services. If you could offer three suggestions to
make YNRC a better place, what would they be? Your ideas
will be appreciated and taken seriously.
Thanks again for your encouragement.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Following a wedding trip
to Nantucket Island in Mas-
sachusetts, and a fall foliage
tour through several New
England states, the couple
now resides in the Clear Lake
area of Houston.
This January, the Sweet
Home School community
honors the contributions
and dedication of their local
school board members-those
locally elected citizens, who
work without pay, make de-
cisions that influence and
direct the education of out-
youth.
The staff and students of
our district are asking all lo-
cal citizens to take a moment
to thank our local school
board members for making
the time to share their vision
and voice about the future of
our children.

I have found YNRC a really great place to work and this a
wonderful community to serve My associations with the
Ministerial Alliance and local churches, the Rotary and Lions
Clubs, the Chamber of Commerce and the Library Board have
shown me that Yoakum is a very caring and vibrant community.
I count it a privilege to work here and look forward to making
2007 even more productive for YNRC.
