“Our purpose is to serve God by building Faith, Love & Commitment”
The Annual Christmas
Parade in Celeste will be
Saturday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m.
Lineup for the parade
will start at the high school
between 9:15-9:30 a.m. and
leave promptly at 10 a.m.,
passing through downtown.
First, second and third places
will be chosen after the
parade.
Santa pictures will take
place immediately after at City
Hall. Those wanting a picture
with Santa must bring their
camera.
As God told Joseph in a dream, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your
wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son and you are
to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1
Praise God, I'm one of those people & our Jesus died for you too! Thank God for Christmas and
Jesus, a reminder to the world that the Creator of the Universe loved us enough to come to this
world as a Babe to give us life to save us from our sins!
Hernan
Cruz,
(middle)
participants must be 21 years
of age or older and ID is
required. In case of rain, the
event will be held Dec. 14.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14
Christmas can be a time for joy, a time for anticipation, sometimes a time of melancholy, and
perhaps even a time to fear what lies just on the other side - 2019 as it rushes in with all its
unknown. But let's put our focus here...
...Here in the immediate present! Let's visualize that HOLY NIGHT, the ANGELS ON HIGH, HERALDING
"HALLELUJAH! HALLEUJAH!"; let's experience that JOY TO THE WORLD, remember those THREE
KINGS, THE SHEPHERDS AND THEIR FLOCKS as they seek that Babe in A MANGER. And as we
remember, let's be ready to grab all the HOLLY JOLLY we can get, DECK THOSE HALLS with some
Christmas cheer; be mentally, physically & spiritually ready for the TWELVE DAYS BEFORE & all the
other days too! Let's make time for at least one or two SILENT, HOLY NIGHTS! And covet close to our
hearts THAT CHILD, precious CHRIST CHILD! It's time to share in the CAROLING and JINGLE BELLS all
the WAY! Although Texas Christmas's are no WINTER WONDERLAND & are seldom WHITE...we can
still share WHAT WE HEAR, and WHAT WE KNOW, and tell it whether on a MOUNTAIN, over the hills
& EVERYWHERE that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! THAT is what CHRISTMAS is about!
