Mrs. Grover C. Beavers was
the honoree Saturday, January
16, when members of her birth-
day club met in the home of
Mrs. J. M. Booth for a covered
dish luncheon. Mrs. Booth was
assisted in entertainment by
her sister, Mrs. Mae Lyall.
Winter honeysuckle and Nan-
di na berries were used for dec-
oration. The lunch was served
from card tables placed in the
open rooms, with chicken pie
as the principal item of food.
Invocation was offered by Mrs.
Tom Roof.
Following the meal a gift was
presented to the honoree. Mem-
bers of the club are

On Sunday Mrs. Beavers at-
tended church services at the
Riverside Baptist Church in
Fort Worth. She had lunch
with a friend, Mrs. J. D. Daves,
and in the afternoon many of
her old friends called to wish
her a happy birthday.-
