DEAR MISTER EDITOR:
1 see by the papers where
one of t hem big automobile
companies is coming out tw’ict
a year with new cars. They
aim to put some out next
month and call ’em the 1964 *-2
Models.” The other cap-makers
will fall in line and they ain’t
no telling where the thing will
stop. I’m expecting it to git to
three or four showings per
year, all done in fractions.
It’s going to be a little con-
fusing, special to this young
generation that ain’t learned
much arithmetic and has trou-
ble with fractions. Johnny, that
already can’t read none too
good, ain’t going to recollect
if he’s driving a 1964 ’♦ job
or a 1964 \ model.

An extension of the John Robert Powers School of
Fort Worth will be opening in Burleson on March 5,
The classes will be Thursday, 9:30 a.m. — 11:30 a.m.,
and 7:30 p.m. — 9:30 p.m. The course will cover 4 areas,
namely: Visual Poise, which covers walking, standing,
sitting correctly; Figure
Sculpturing: covering the
yoga exercises. The yoga
exercises are much like
the regular exercises only
they are done slowly and
deliberately, not fast and stren-
uously. The third area covered
is Wardrobing and Styling
which consists of the different
lines of clothes that would
look good on you, the proper
accessories to wear, where and
when. And lastly, Make-Down:
Mr. Powers calls the Make up
course this because he feels we
should look natural, not made
up; therefore make-down!
The classes will be held in
the home of Mrs. J. Y. Big-
ham at 229 NW Summercrest
Blvd. The course lasts 6 weeks,
held once a week. The curicu-
lum will cover the high points
of the Basic Course given at
the Fort Worth School. The
price, howeVer, is $25.00, one-
ninth the price of the full 30-
hour course. Teen-agers will
have a class of their own for
they will not have the exact
same course of the adults. This
is mostly for self-improvement
and secondly, modeling. The
Powers School was the first
modeling school in the United
States and has build up the
finest reputation.
To enroll or for more in-
format.on, phone Mrs Bigham
at AX 5-1453. The March 5
classes will have to he set by
Feb. 29. New classes will then
begin April 16.
